國民黨副總統參選人王如玄被質疑投資「軍宅」套利的爭議未休，又被綠營立委指控與丈夫以每月新台幣700元的低價租金住在公家首長宿舍。對此，王如玄今天(24日)表示，她住的是職務宿舍，入住時曾自費整修，且每月需繳管理費、水電費等共4千元，平均每個月花費成本1萬元。

王如玄指出，公務員簡任官等以上每個月都有700元的房屋津貼，但因為她住宿舍，就沒有這筆補貼，且她住的並非首長宿舍，而是職務宿舍。王如玄強調，她是因為工作之便才申請宿舍，但公家宿舍都是老舊房子，她入住時，房屋漏水、牆壁斑駁、地板整個翻起來，因此她花了60、70萬元整修，加上每月要繳交管理費1,400元、行政管理費1,000元、水電費1,600元，共4,000元左右，平均每個月所花的成本約1萬元，並非如外界所說每月只花600、700元就可住公家宿舍。
